·        Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Banaras Hindu University, India from July 2006 to till date

·        Senior Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Kalasalingam University from 01-06-007 to 31-05-2009(on Extra-Ordinary Leave  from BHU)

·        Visiting Academic at the University of Western Australia from March 2005 to August 2005. ( on sabbatical leave from BHU)

·        Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Banaras Hindu University, India from December 1991.

·        Senior Research Fellow in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, India from September 1989 to December 1991.
