Education and Academic Assignments:

I obtained my Bachelors' degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Allahabad in 1999 and thereafter a Masters' degree in Computer Science (with First Rank) from the University of Allahabad  in 2002. I passed the UGC-NET examination and obtained the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Computer Application during my Masters' studies. I availed myself of the fellowship by joining the J. K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology of the University of Allahabad in July 2002. I obtained the D. Phil. degree in Science from the University of Allahabad in March 2010. The area of my Doctoral research work was Collective Intelligence.

In July 2003, I joined Banasthali Vidyapith University, Rajasthan as Lecturer in Computer Science and served there till March 2004. Thereafter I joined Banaras Hindu University as Lecturer in Computer Application. I am presently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science.
