Faculty of Arts also runs Certificate, Diploma and Vocational courses at undergraduate level. Vocational courses are on top priority in New Educational Policy. In view of national concern for vocalization of education, the vocational courses were started in our university at specific instance of UGC in session 1984-85 as one of the subjects at undergraduate level in Faculty of Arts. After viewing great demand and success, two courses at Diploma level were also introduced in 2006 in Tourism and Office Management subjects.

The number of students in vocational courses in the Faculty has been steadily increasing from last several years. During the current academic session 2010-11, the total enrolment has crossed 400 students. Given the job potential provided by such courses and the changing job market situation, there is strong likelihood of further increasing in their number. For further development and growth some new courses will be introduced in coming sessions like NGO Management, PG Diploma in Retail Management, Event Management, Airline Ticketing etc.
