Computer Centre provide the computing facilities to the University teaching staff and Research students.It also provide Internet browsing to all teaching staff , administratives staff and all Students of the university.There are nearly 16000+ user which are using internet facilities and computing facilities.

Computer Centre supports an wide 1000 MBPS fiber optic network that connects all the academic units, hostels, library and other central facilities to the Computer Centre.

Internet access is provided through a 46 MBPS lease line. These Line are provided by BSNL,Reliance and ERNET.

Users can use the computing resources of Computer Center from their offices and Academics Unit and Hostels.

Computer Centre operates 24 hours a day, 365 days an year. It has a power back up through a 40 KVA UPS and a 300 KVA generator set.
Air conditioning is provided by the central air conditioning plant and split air conditioners.

• Login is provided to all the students, faculty and staff members for browsing Internet.

• e-mail login is provided to all faculty and staff members for accessing BHU Mail service.

• Proxy Login is provided to all Students and faculty and staff members for Computing facilities.

New Login Procedure

• Please download the requisite form from BHU Intranet website and submit the dully filled form in CC office and get the User Id and Password from same office

Computer Center maintain BHU website (www.bhu.ac.in), DNS server,BHU alumni website,Departments website,Intranet website etc. The BHU website is updated by this Centre time to time. The Information on the website displayed after the approval of the Concerned Institute, faculty or administrative offices.

BHU Mail Service

Computer Centre provides mail service to the University Teaching Communities and Administrative officers.
