The Faculty visualizes the concept of Business Clinic to serve two facto objectives: to bridge the gap between the theoretical and the practical concepts of business extending learning beyond classrooms and to provide expert services to the entrepreneurs and to business units.
The business clinic will focus on the following activities:
Empower existing small businesses and nonprofit organizations, Small and medium entrepreneurs, SHGs, (especially functioning in Eastern UP) with the necessary professional knowledge and skills to operate their businesses.
Provide necessary professional assistance to small entrepreneurs during their start-up phase, their on-going continuation phase, and their expansion phase by offering quality counselling, business advice and representation, and community education information.
Promotes public awareness and understanding of business and requirements by disseminating pertinent information to business owners and community groups, and by identifying current and future level issues.
General Consultancy and soft skill trainings
Problem diagnosis and solution thereof.
A team of senior Faculty members will be formed to chalk-out various activities of the Clinic and also to consider requirements from the prospective clients. Different task teams of faculty members will be formed on the basis of their expertise to deal with varied needs of the prospective clients.
The Clinic will remain open two hours every working day during which the prospective clients can visit and consult with the Panel of Professors.
Initially, the Clinic will not be charging for its services. However, in the long run, the Clinic is supposed to run on self sustainable basis.
