Recognitions:
Taking cognizance of its expertise and deep commitment to learning, the Faculty has been identified as one of the Quality Improvement Programme Centres by the All India Council for Technical Education for developing and updating the teachers of management institutions of the country in the year 2001. Since then the Faculty conducted around 30 short term (6-day) programmes on various topics under this scheme. For the current year (2009-2010) we have plan to conduct around 15 such programmes.
Faculty has been identified as the Host Institution for National Doctoral Fellowship in Management by the All India Council for Technical Education in the year 2003.
An MoU was signed between the University and Allahabad Bank for creation of a Allahabad Bank Chair Professor in the Faculty in the year 2004.
Faculty got the honour of being included in the Special Assistance Programme of the UGC (Level DRS-1) of University Grants Commission in the year 2007. The thrust area of the programme in the Faculty is Social Entrepreneurship Development.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved and sponsored the Entrepreneurship Development Cell for carrying out research and training activities to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youngsters in the year 2007.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved and sponsored the Industry-Institute Partnership Cell for carrying out consultancy and provide training for executives from business organizations and strengthen linkage with the corporate world in the year 2007.
