From the Desk of the Principal

Mahila Mahavidyalaya my Alma Mater has been serving the cause of Women’s education in this part of the country since it was established in 1929. Over the years it has successfully grown in its several dimensions: in infrastructure, in the development of its course structure, which in turn naturally led to the growth of its faculty members and the number of students. What started as a small unit, but with big dreams, MMV has succeeded in realizing and fulfilling the vision of its founder, Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya.

When I joined the institution in 1965 as a student, till did I realize that one day I would be at this position. The College has aided and facilitated me in developing my pesonality holistically. And this has been our aspiration as teachers of MMV, not only to impart knowledge to young girls, but to nurture them , make then even better human beings and responsible citizens of India, build their, confidence and make them excel in whatever they aim to do. They enjoy the years they spend at MMV, and later fondly recollect the time spent in such happy and beautiful surrounings of the College campus. Our motto at MMV has been 'To Strive, to seek to find , and not yield.'
We hope to live up to the ideals of the Mahamana and take MMV to heights of glory.
