Department of Chemistry, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi is hosting a Science Academies' Lecture-Workshop on "Molecular Spectroscopy: Theory, Instrumentation and Applications" during 2nd - 3rd March, 2012 sponsored by three Science Academies of India (i.e., IASc, Bangalore , INSA, New Delhi ,& NASI, Allahabad )

Prominent teachers/scientists will deliver lectures on fundamental aspects of Molecular Spectroscopy, a very important topic of Chemistry and Physics. This lecture-workshop is specifically meant for the local/regional students and for some college teachers who are interested in the topic. There will be no registration fee to participate in this Lecture-Workshop. Study materials, tea, snacks and working-lunch will be provided free to the limited registered participants. Participants will get ample chance to interact (during and after the lectures) with the renowned speakers, get a chance to learn the related topics and/or clear their doubts, if any. Those who are interested to participate actively are advised to get registered. Both online and offline registration facilities are available now.
