  • Teaching Interest : Economic Geology: 27 years experience of graduate and Post-Graduate teaching of various geology courses.
  • Research Interest : Ore Geology: working on various aspects of tin and tungsten mineralization in different localities, particularly tungsten mineralization of Balda and Degana (Rajasthan), tin-tungsten mineralization of Katekalyan (Bastar, Chhattisgarh) and tin-tungsten mineralization of Almora and Chamoli district, Uttarakhand and tin-tungsten mineralization of Dudhi granite, Sonbhadra district, UP are the main objective to understand the physico-chemical conditions responsible for the tin-tungsten mineralization in different tectono-magmatic episodes in India, and also to propose some genetic model(s) leading to concept based exploration programmes. In this connection Balda and Degana tungsten deposit and Katekalyan tin and associated rare metal mineralization are of upper most importance because of the richness of the deposits.
